Course Instructor: With a degree in Nutrition, a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and a certification in Neuronutrient therapy, Vonda Schaefer, MFT CNNT is able to explore and encourage biological connections and symptom-relief through healthy solutions. Her work creates sustainable, healthy, and non-addictive solutions to psychological issues.
Her additional experience includes: work as a Clinical Supervisor, supervising peers as well as interns, authoring a book entitled “Counseling Youth: 101 Answers”, and teaching at a local community college.
Course Provider: Duane Law, L.Ac. has taught acupuncturists since the 1980s and has been a provider of continuing education for mental health professionals in California since 2000.
Duane is among the earliest acupuncturists licensed in the US. His clinical focus has been mental health issues and otherwise non-responsive medical challenges since 1982, with an emphasis on food awareness, nutrition and client education as interventions.
The Amino Acids and Depression course meets the qualifications for 3 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, 3 PDA points as required by NCCAOM, and 3 hours of CE credit as required by the California Acupuncture Board.
Normally there are no refunds issued to enrollees after the course begins or once course materials are viewed or downloaded, except if you’re really annoyed for some reason get in touch and we’ll work things out to your satisfaction. The same applies to anyone with a grievance.

Course feedback emails will be sent withint 48-72 hours after the webinar. Course certificates for live course attendees will be provided by email within 48 hours after students return their course feedback at the end of the webinar. Asynchronous attendees viewing the webinar recording will be asked to pass a short quiz; the passing rate will be 70% correct and certificates for these students will be provided by email within 48 hours of completing the quiz and the course feedback email. Asynchronous attendees seeking NCCAOM PDAs will also need to complete a course worksheet.
